Practicing gratitude on a daily basis is a key to anchoring yourself in the positive . Whether it's taking a few minutes each morning to write in a gratitude journal or incorporating grateful thoughts into a meditation, this habit helps keep your feet on the ground. For my part, I like to practice gratitude every day. Whether in my gratitude journal, during my meditations, or even during my walks, I try to realize how lucky I am to live the life I've long dreamed of. Sometimes, I refocus on the simple elements of everyday life: being independent, in good health, having a roof over my head, or having a loving family.

Many scientific studies now prove the benefits of gratitude on mental and physical health. Regular practice of gratitude reduces stress, improves the quality of sleep and increases our energy level . By allowing us to focus our attention on the positive aspects of our life, gratitude increases our level of general satisfaction and reduces anxiety.

By taking a step back and appreciating what we have, we realize that happiness is not only linked to possessions or external achievements, but rather to how we choose to perceive our reality.
